Watch NDSU take on James Madison for national title

The NDSU football team will play for its eighth Football Championship Subdivision national championship in the last nine years on Saturday.

The game against James Madison University is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. It will be televised nationally on ABC.

The top-ranked Bison (15-0) advanced to the title game with a convincing 42-14 win against Montana State University. James Madison (14-1) beat Weber State University 30-14 in the semifinals.

The schools also met during the 2017 and 2016 postseason. NDSU defeated James Madison 17-13 for the 2017 national title, and the Dukes defeated the Bison 27-17 in the playoff semifinals before winning the 2016 championship.

James Madison is the only school other than NDSU to win an FCS football title since 2011.
